Finally made it to Purdue. Yay. The art classes are HELL! We started with peanuts, then pinecones, now we are working on still lifes. Ugh. And my teacher is very picky. I suppose overall it's making me a better artist, though one lacking sleep. :-( I stayed up very late working in this still life and making it perfectly shaded, and people didn't like it because I left the background starke.
